Mrs. Pilote comes to Greene Central School with twenty-seven years of experience in education. She has served as the assistant principal at Tripp Middle School since February of 2011. Prior to that, she taught sixth grade for fifteen years and fifth grade for one year at Montello Elementary School in Lewiston. She began her teaching career at Sugg Middle School in Lisbon Falls, where she taught sixth grade for six years.

Mrs. Pilote was educated in local schools, and graduated from St. Dominic Regional High School in 1983. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She is an avid sports fan who loves to watch college and professional football. Hockey is her favorite sport, and she currently serves on the Maine Principals’ Association Ice Hockey Committee.

When she’s not at school, Mrs. Pilote can be found reading a good book, shopping, or hiking. She loves the mountains and beaches of Maine, and would love to travel and explore the mountains and beaches of other states and countries.

Mrs. Pilote has a son who attends the University of Maine, and two step-children who live and work locally. She lives in Lewiston with her husband, Guy, her cat, Emmitt, and nine chickens.
