The Read-A-Louds Continue between Mrs. Randall's classes at TMS and Mrs. Ouellette's Kindergarten Class at TPS -

This weeks book was "Puppies, Puppies, Puppies".  Hopefully, we will soon expand this program to other partnerships.

Mrs. Mathers and Mrs Webber traded student groups for a month to concentrate on a special project. The 8th grade students with Mrs Mathers are reading the following books in small groups:  Ask Me No Questions , The Return of Gabriel , Call Me Maria , Homeless Bird , and  An Ocean Apart, A World Away .  In their groups they are discussing the following social issues in relation to the books:  fairness, gender, race, social class, and power.  Their reflections are being posted on a project wiki ! 

In the words of their teacher, "I'm very proud of them!  They are doing a great job!".
