Thank you for your support.  Principal’s Message: Average Daily Attendance for September: 95% Our school wide fundraiser ends Oct. 4th. If your child forgot to bring it in we will be excepting the paper forms on Monday.  If you did not order you can go to and use the Fundraiser ID# 374481 when you shop.   • MLTI Laptop Insurance Each year all 7th graders and new 8th graders need to attend a meeting to learn the expectations for laptop use and the insurance the district provided for you to purchase. All laptops that go home must have the insurance. The PowerPoint that was shared with families at the meeting is attached for those who could not attend. The insurance form is also attached.

  • Truancy vs Chronically Absent This year our focus is to decrease our chronically absent from 15.13% to 10%. In the August newsletter, I send home an informational sheet comparing the two types of absents. During the Open House, I also shared a PowerPoint with more detailed information. I am attaching the PowerPoint for those families that could not attend.

  • September Newsletter This is our September Newsletter it went home with your child on Sept. 5th. I am attaching a PDF copy if you would like to print it out. Thank you for your continued support. Welcome! Our first week of school went really well. The seventh graders have adjusted very quickly to the middle school schedule. Each month I will be sending home a newsletter with updates on curriculum and important dates. The students are all given an agenda book on the first day of school.   • Suggested School Supply List We are very excited about the upcoming school year. We want our students to experience great success while at Tripp. A key element to success is organization. School supplies assist in keeping students organized. The following list of school and supplies are recommended but not required for your child’s success next year. Sticky notes – a generic brand is great! Two 1” binders Two 2” binders Two Packages of 8 Tabbed Dividers Pencils, Pencils, Pencils Blue or Black Pens Colored Pencils Highlighters Calculator (Not Scientific) Lined Notebook Paper Headphones/ Earbuds   Enjoy your summer and remember to continue reading throughout the summer. In addition, keep your math skills sharp by playing games that require adding, subtracting and multiplying.
