  • ODYSSEY OF THE MIND 12/19/16 Come to the LAHS Music Room on Monday night, December 19, at 6:30pm to learn more about this program.Odyssey of the Mind, or OM, is a creative problem-solving competition involving students from kindergarten through college. Team members work together to solve a predefined problem (the long-term problem); and present their solution to the problem at a competition. They must also participate in the spontaneous portion of the competition by generating solutions to a problem they have not seen before. While the long-term problem solution often takes many months to complete and involves various elements of theatrical performance, construction and design, the spontaneous portion occurs the day of the competition.   • FREE LUNCH FRIDAYS! This Friday, December 17, is the last Free Lunch Friday for all students for 2016. Please make sure to participate in this annual event (for the second year) offered by the MSAD 52 Food Service program. This event provides the opportunity for all students to sample the national Gold Star winning nutrition program our district provides. Please encourage your child(ren) to have lunch this Friday!

  • November 9 & 10 Wednesday, November 9, is a half day of school for all students. Parent/Teacher Conferences begin at noon at the high school and middle school, and begin at 1:00pm at the elementary schools.. Thursday, November 10, is a No School Day, due to a teachers workshop day.Have a restful long weekend!!
